Fatty acids are carboxylic acids with a long aliphatic chain, which is either saturated or unsaturated, branched or unbranched derived from fats & oils from palm, coconuts, soybean, tall and
tallow. Most naturally occurring fatty acids have an unbranched chain of an even number of carbon atoms, from 4 to 28. Fatty acids are usually produced industrially by the hydrolysis of
triglycerides, with the removal of glycerol. ELOFAD has 08~20 carbon chains and unbranched types, derived from fats & oils originated palm and tallow. These are used in raw materials and/
or additives for cosmetics and personal care, emulsifiers, dispersants, plasticizers, lubricants, feeds and other various industrial applications.
